Eligible Individual for the HCTC
(Tax Law)
In general, the following individuals are potentially eligible for the HCTC: eligible TAA benefit recipients, eligible ATAA benefit recipients or eligible PBGC pension benefit payment recipients who are at least 55 years old and not eligible for Medicare. Eligible individuals must meet all HCTC eligibility requirements, such as having qualified health coverage, not having other specified coverage (like Medicare), cannot be imprisoned, and cannot be claimed as a dependant on anyone�s tax return.
